![]() 3 Mosquitos, a Vamp, and a random 5th mob drops like 6-8 cards in a fight and has effectively zero risk.įor long straight-aways, I like to alternate Villages with Ruins or Graveyards, so there's safety tiles surrounding each and you don't have to deal with archers in your fights. I generally set up my U loops with a Vampire Mansion in the center and Swamps in each adjacent tile, then layer in additional enemy roadside things around each (Blood Grove, Bookery, Smith, Battlefield), as the Mosquitos exploding cleans up those mobs for easy drops. Swamp + Vampire Mansion is a great combo because you don't have any Vampirism, Regen, or HP per day. Use roadside tiles like Battlefield, Bookery, Smith, etc to block off your Village placements so Bandit Encampments never spawn, or if you're rolling in Vampire Mansions, use those to protect the villages to keep Bandits out. Avoid Grove (Ratwolf), Spider Cocoon (Spider), Mountain (Goblin). You generally prefer fighting strong, slow enemies over fast attacking weaker ones. Some other suggestions for tile selection and placement: ![]() I've run a level 2 ring to loop 9 because it had +1 Max Summons and a decent +Skeleton Level and nothing else could compete with that. Everything else (attack speed, evasion, regen, magic HP) is largely ignorable. For your other three pieces of gear, try to get at least two of +1 Max Summons, +Skeleton Level, or Summon Quality on each. +Max Summon and +Summon Quality are good secondary traits as well. Especially great if you get a secondary +Skeleton level as well. This has the best scaling for Skeleton Level based on item level, so always be on the lookout for higher level grimoires to upgrade to. For your Grimoire, try to maximize Skeleton level. This means you can focus on the stats that matter. That means your skeletons can wail on them all day, die, and get resummoned, triggering your traits repeatedly to farm up Magic HP.īetween these three, you basically have survivability, long-term sustain and growth, and attack speed baked into your run without even picking up a single piece of gear. These enemies don't attack, they just counterattack and deal Thorns damage. As an added bonus, every ten you place summons a Village? tile which spawns Training Dummies. Thickets - Bonus attack speed from terrain tiles means you can ignore that stat on gear and still easily get 100%+ Attack speed or greater. Basically you're going to rely on these more than anything else. ![]() Some of the other ones for skeleton counterattack, stronger skeletons at the start of every day, skeletons restoring life on kills, etc can help as well. In particular, you want to grab the traits that give you +1 Max Skeleton, +.5 Magic HP (permanently) per summoned skeleton, restore 3xloop HP per skeleton destroyed, +.25 Skeleton level per loop. They give you bonus XP for killing enemies, which lets the traits roll in. Suburbs - You get these after upgrading the Gymnasium. +3 max HP per kill on a unit with a soul adds up quick, and you don't have Armor to lose the HP bonus from so it's all upside. Some tips:Īncestral Crypt - You get to choose one Golden Tile to take with you, and for the Necro this is by and large the best. Necro definitely plays differently than other classes.
